As San Francisco’s pre-eminent real estate matchmakers since 1978, Brown & Company is a 10-agent firm of San Francisco natives. We know the neighborhoods because we grew up in them. We know the best general contractors because we’ve remodeled our City homes. We know who’s buying, who’s selling. Often, we even know about great investment opportunities before they’re publicly announced. In short, we have in-depth, insiders’ knowledge of this very unique real estate market. And we know how to put that insight to work matchmaking the perfect deal for you.
Over the past three decades, we’ve seen the San Franciscan real estate market boom then flatten—more than once. We’ve seen interest rates soar then plummet. We’ve seen rent control and property disclosure requirements grow ever more stringent. We’ve witnessed the incredible growth of new residential, commercial, and loft developments. In fact, we’ve been deeply involved in multi-unit development projects throughout the City—including lofts, condos, townhomes, and commercial/residential combos—from concept through completion. And, happily, we’ve avoided the popular trend of merging small, friendly real estate agencies with huge, impersonal corporations. Today, we remain passionately independent. So we’re free to serve a diverse range of clients—from first-time home buyers and veteran home sellers to commercial clients and multi-unit investors.
